Wrought iron fencing is a type of fencing made out of iron with a very small amount of carbon in it, increasing the durability and structural strength of the iron itself. This allows for wrought iron to act as an ideal building material for fences. However, like all fencing materials, wrought iron fences carry with them a set of unique benefits and drawbacks. Understanding the advantages and disadvantages of wrought iron fencing can help you decide whether or not a wrought iron fence is right for your home.

About Me

what to do when your fence isn't high enough

I installed a four-foot high fence when my dog was just a puppy. When he was young, I had no idea that he was going to grow into the big, strong boy that he has become. Since he has grown so much, he can jump the fence without any problem. In order to keep my dog in my yard, I had to find a solution to the problem. I had to find out if I had to have the old fence removed and a new one installed, or if I could alter the fencing that was already in place to keep him in the yard. That's why I'm writing this blog.
